In National Energy Museum, the entrance room is halfway between a climatic hall and a new sort of greenhouse, an ecosystem containing large specimens, acting as a mediator between the landscape in the exhibition rooms on the lower levels and playing an active role in the interior climate treatment process: the air entering from the underground galleries passes through the ground and the mass of the substrata, refreshing, filtering and oxygenising along the way.
